What is MeOnGo? What will MeOnGo do for me?
The MeOnGo, free mobile email service, is designed with the intention of allowing you to access your existing mailboxes on your mobile phones. With the help of this service you can access your emails on your phone. Hence, you no longer have to look for the nearest cyber cafe or computer to view or reply to your emails. The MeOnGo service will enable you to read emails from your Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail and other mailboxes on your mobile. You can also access emails from POP3 or IMAP based mailboxes too. The solution lets you configure the mailboxes you want to access through your cellphone. Once you have configured the mailboxes you are not required to give username and password each time you want to access your emails. Moreover, you can configure more than one mailbox and access your emails from multiple mailboxes using a single MeOnGo account.
What do I require to use MeOnGo service?
Initially you need a web browser to register yourself to use this service (you already have that since you are already reading this page). To access emails from your mobile, you need a mobile phone that is capable of browsing and receiving SMS / Text Messages. MeOnGo works with most mobile browsers over GPRS, EDGE,CDMA or 3G.
What type of mobile devices does MeOnGo support?
MeOnGo works with ANY mobile device that has a browser and is capable of accessing internet websites (mobile internet). MeOnGo services works as a mobile webmail designed for WAP and supports versions 1.1 and above (both WML and XHTML)
What charges do I have to pay to use MeOnGo?
How much will this service cost me?
There is no charge for the MeOnGo services. However, depending on your mobile service provider you may have to pay the applicable charges for your browsing usage.
Which email services can I access using MeOnGo?
Currently, you can have mail on phone, from the following web-based email services:

  • Yahoo
  • Gmail
  • Rediffmail
  • Indiatimes
Additionally, you can read emails from any mailbox providing POP3 / IMAP access (the type provided by most ISP across the globe).
